My story

INTRODUCE

Hi. My name is Kanna. I like listening to music and watching movies!

On in this page, I'll talk to you about myself.

At first, let me tell you that I've used a hearing aid since I was nine years old. I'm hearing-challenged. In the beginning, I felt and thought "Why am I ?". But, I can listen to my favorite music and I can talk with my family and friends. Speaking of my worries, "Someday, am I going to live in a soundless world ?" " Won't I be able to listen to music and voices?" "Will sounds disappear from my world?" and so on. I have many negative thoughts but I have to change these thoughts by myself. I have to do my best! Hearing is a very very big wall for me, but I won't ever give up and I'll do my best.

Hearing aid

Hearing aid is a magic tool for me.

I can't live without this support. Hearing aid's existence makes me happy and strong.

"Hearing" is very important for communication. There're many people in the world that can't hear anything since they were born. But in my case, I can hear. So I have to thank and stop negative thoughts.

And formerly hearing aid was originally gesture that put a hand behind the ear. This changed the animals horns, shells, and woods like the ear, even more trumpet-shaped type, battery type, vacuum tube type, electrical transistor type, hybrid type, and digital type. Hearing aids are not had such functionality, performance, small, light, shape and design from the beginning. It was so far a long way to go.

I think that changing is important thing. So I'm glad.

WHAT I DID IN MY PARENTS' WEDDING ANNIVERSARY,         25th MARCH

How often do you study English? How about the other languages?      (in my case is...)

How do you often study English? Vocabulary, grammer, listening, speaking, reading, writing... so many works! And how many times do you take it? An hour, two hours, three hours...

From now on, I'll talk to you about studying English in my case.

Like I talked about the above things, I like listening music and watching films.

So when I have a free time or in the train, I often listen to western music with lyrics(by English and Japanese). And on holiday, I borrow DVD, and watching it with subtitles. I have two reasons of this. First, I thought that watching films with subtitles is good studying English for me. In my case, watching films, listening their voices with subtitles are too understand English. Second, I just only want to listen their real voices, no dubbing. I like the persons have nice voices regardless of gender.

When I was a junior or senior high school student, I had studied writing vocabularies hard, but now, I have little time to study. So now, listening music with lyrics and watching films with subtitles are best way to study English for me.

My theme of graduation thesis is...

Since I've taken some Spanish class last April, I started beeing interested in Spain. And I like cooking or eating. So maybe I'll decide and research about Spanish Food, Eating Habits, and Historical Development.

In our seminar, "the graduation thesis by English!" is a rule.

So this will not easy, rather difficult. But I'll do my best!!

(And however I can't go travel to Spain among that I'm a student, but someday I'll go there!)

The place I'd like to go is...

Where is your favorite place? Or where is the place you'd like to go? And what's the reason for this?

Everybody wants to relax, go shopping or drive for a change of pace, and listen to music and so on, isn't that's right?

For me, the best way to relax is listening to music, seeing the films, and occasional traveling. Maybe "The best" will increasing in the future.

And now, I've taken the Spanish class in my college. I knew the really great special place in Spain at this class!

Would you like to know this???

Or I'll tell you about this because I can't have patience.

It's "Patio" in Cordoba, Spain!

"Patio" means courtyard. "Patio" is decorated by lots and so beautiful flower pots, and there's festival that compete with its beauty in May. Everybody can join this.

This place is really I'd like to go most now or until I'll be able to go anywhere alone!

I think you should go there, too!

Internship to Taiwan!

As a matter of fact, I went to Taiwan by internship from this September first to 12th. My company was the inbound travel agent named Star express. I learned a lot of things there and visited many tourist attractions!

From now on, I'll introduce about my internship!

First,  I couldn't help company employee's work because this season was so busy. And they working themselves is ealier than I helping them work.

But I went some tourist attractions with tour conductor as also I'm a customer. Martyrs' Shrine, National Palace Museum, Freshwater, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, and Longshan Temple...so many great places! And until now my image of travel agent is just only planning tour that place that tourist would like to go. But this changed. I knew that tour conductor should consider the age range of tourist, so I thought it's not easy, so difficult...

~In holiday~

Next...every Saturday and Sunday during were holidays. So university students, professor in Taiwan and internship members from IUK enjoyed going travel together!

Especially, a place that I felt a strong attraction is Jiufen! Maybe everybody knows, this place is called "Spirited Away"'s model in Japan. When I visited there, it was cloudy or light rainy. But I was impressed it was mysterious! Red lanterns and building there were very impressive. If I can go there again, I want to go there at night next time.
